Merging image and sound track on 35 mm film is usually realised via a rather complex contact copy process. With the „Sound Recording Optical System“ of the Cinevator™ Digital Film Printer the sound track is exposed to film at same time like the image track. Similarly like for the development project of the image recording optical system OpSys Project Consulting was again responsible for coordination of the project between all involved partner companies, the tuning of interfaces and tracking and tracing of time schedules in the development project „Sound Recording Optical System“. Compilation of system documentation and test procedure again completed the project.
