Nowadays cinema movies are mostly shot with digital cameras or are at least widely digitally postprocessed. While most movie theaters are not equipped with digital projectors, the digited content is again exposed to 35 mm film. This process is time consuming and – using existing equipment – very expensive.

In course of the product development OpSys Project Consulting was responsible for coordination of the subproject „Image Recording Optical System“ between the different involved companies, the matching of all optical, electrical and mechanical interfaces as well as tracking and compliance with schedules until deadline for trade show exhibition. Additional tasks in the project have been the compilation of system documentation and the coordination of factory acceptance test criteria.
